Major Attractions

The affluent city of Beverly Hills is only a 10 minute drive away from our hotel. You can shop with the celebrities in this glamorous area or experience the vibrant culture of nearby West Hollywood. One of the most popular attractions of this area is the Sunset Strip, a street of rock clubs, restaurants, boutiques and nightspots that is known for defining Hollywood throughout the years. If you can’t get enough of Tinseltown, head over to main source: the Hollywood and Highland Center, home to the Academy Awards and the Walk of Fame. You can also take the bus to nearby Koreatown, in order to experience the culture and food of Korea during your stay in Los Angeles. Those who came to Southern California looking to experience the sun can visit Santa Monica for its beautiful beach, pier and carnival rides. For a more eclectic beach boardwalk experience, check out the Venice Beach scene. You’ll see unique art vendors and some amazing street performers!

Arts & Culture

Wilshire Crest Hotel is only two blocks away from one of Los Angeles’ most famous art museums, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Miracle Mile. Visit the museum to be inspired by a large collection of art from Latin America, Europe and America or check out the rotating exhibits on famous artists such as Tim Burton or Stanley Kubrick. Next to LACMA is the George C. Page Museum at La Brea Tar Pits, a museum that takes you back to a time before the city of Los Angeles. You can see skeletons of ancient animals,fossils of plants as well as life-size models of the prehistoric creatures. If you love contemporary art, check out the Museum of Contemporary Art in downtown for a collection of art and media from the 21st century. Fans of television should visit the Paley Center for Media, an institution dedicated to the cultural significance of television, radio and emerging media platforms. If you are fascinated with Hollywood, visit the Wax Museum on Hollywood Boulevard to take pictures with celebrities. Those interested in the history of racism and prejudice can visit the Museum of Tolerance. The museum is known for its powerful Holocaust Section where you follow a Jewish child through the events of World War II and learn their fate after the tour.

Entertainment

If you are looking for live entertainment during your stay in Los Angeles, you have plenty of options close to our hotel near Beverly Hills! The El Rey Theatre, an art-deco live music venue, is just a few blocks away. Further down Wilshire Boulevard is the historical Wiltern Center, another art-deco live music theatre. Venture off into West Hollywood to visit some of the most famous nightclubs in live music history: the Roxy Theatre, the Troubadour, House of Blues and the Key Club. Check out the Laugh Factory on the Sunset Strip; it is one of the most famous stand-up comedy clubs in Los Angeles. If you are looking to catch the latest great flick, head over to Hollywood Boulevard to visit Disney’s El Capitan Theatre or the world famous TCL Chinese Theatre. You can also explore the home of the Academy Awards, the Dolby Theatre or watch a spectacular Broadway performance at the Pantages Theatre.
